Wedding – I’m kissing you by Des’ree. My hubby and I walked up the aisle together and I can’t recall the song that was playing but the Des’ree song from Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet was playing as we signed the register. It wasn’t prescient; we didn’t die horribly in a murder-suicide pact.
Honeymoon– Standing in a market street behind Church of San Michele in Florence, I heard The Sea by Morcheeba wafting from a music store. Remember music stores?
Birth of a Child – Cello Suite No1 in G Major by JSBach performed by Yo-yo Ma. My son is a cellist so it’s fitting. Maybe he should perform it!
Flashback – Maybe it’s Time by Bradley Cooper. sigh…
Death scene – I Go To Sleep performed by Sia. Bring your tissues.
Funeral Song – Boys of Summer by Don Henley. For as long as I can remember this has been the song I want played at my funeral.
