Where would you go on a shopping spree?
I would start with Shakespeare and Co, the famous English language bookshop on the left bank of the River Seine. Then I would move to Sennelier, the famous art supply store a little further up the river.
To finish my spree, rather than go to Chanel or Dior or one of the big department stores, I would head over to the closest Paul boulangerie and buy croissants and baguettes for everyone in the street.
Oh, I dream of going to Paris someday…
It’s a truly beautiful and historic city but it also has its realities in the 21st century too. I love to visit but I’m always happy to come home also.
