Morning meditation

This morning I sat on the beach and used the Metta meditation format for my morning practice.

Metta is the practice of widening your field of us, of surrounding yourself in an ever-widening field of love, sending love out, out, out to everyone and everything in the universe.

Needless To say it feels pretty damn good

I found myself talking to Brian at Broadbeach yesterday. I’d just been to the dentist and was taking a victory walk of broady. I used to be terrified of the dentist and over the past few years I’ve had a lot of work done on my teeth and I’ve been doing a lot of work in my brain to not be so scared of the dentist.

I also used to be terrified of birds after a really horrible experience with a bird getting tangled in my hair.

I’m so proud of the work I’ve done in myself to deal with these horrid phobias.
