Praise for The Art Inspired Writer
Before I was halfway through The Art Inspired Writer, I was truly excited. Due to the author’s insightful methods, a sculpture I love has inspired my second book. It’s not what I’d planned to write–it’s much better. Author Christine Betts also introduced me to artists unknown to me–one can never have too much art to enjoy. The Art Inspired Writer is a book to savour and contemplate as you follow Ms Betts’ exercises. You will be inspired and a better writer for it! ~ Cherie Bombell, Writer

If you’re a curious writer, would you sign up for an ekphrastic writing class?
What is an ekphrastic writing workshop?
I can start by telling you what it isn’t. It’s not an erotic writing workshop, which is what my AutoCorrect seems determined to call it. You might write something erotic in an EKPHRASTIC writing class, but that would depend on what kind of artwork you’re looking at.

When you start looking you will find art in the most surprising places.
